History
of the Assemblies of God in Denmark
Three different Pentecostal groups
are currently doing whatever possible to reach souls in Denmark:
Pentecostal Revival Movement, Apostolic Church, and Elim. A 24-hour
Christian television station shares the gospel with the urban population
in and around Copenhagen. A Christian Day school, Cultural Center
and major youth outreach ministries are also operating in the city
of Copenhagen.
Currently, the country needs a
fresh visitation of God. Formalism, liberal theology, and secularism
have had a negative impact. The youth of Denmark are responsive
to spiritual challenge, but only small minorities of children have
any practical knowledge of Christianity.
