History of the Assemblies of God in Luxembourg Although revolutionary changes have affected the church elsewhere, Luxembourg has been passed by and few have clearly heard the gospel in their own language. The land is Catholic by tradition and culture so the Protestants are a small minority with a high proportion of foreigners. JehovahÕs Witnesses have had more success in evangelism in Luxembourg than Evangelicals have had. Yet in addition to the Assemblies of God ministries, there are small evangelical congregations of the Free Church, the Mennonites, and of the more formal Protestant (Reformed) Church.
