Samuel Rodriguez, Jr.
Pastor from New York City

With a career that has been based upon his high esteem for education and a love for young people, Samuel Rodriguez, Jr. is covered with God’s grace and anointing. His ministerial experience has ranged from functioning as a prominent youth leader, a worldwide evangelist, and the pastor of the fastest growing church in all of New York City.

Rodriguez earned his masters degree in education leadership from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in education. At the age of 18, he became the youth pastor of his local church while traveling the world to speak to youth groups throughout Latin America. At the age of 21, he was ordained by the Assemblies of God and became the District Youth Director of the Spanish Eastern District, supervising 10,000 young people of 300 different churches.

As an evangelist, he began to minister at the age of 16, and has since preached to large gatherings of Hispanic young people in the U.S. and in Latin America. He has ministered to hundreds of thousands of young people throughout the world via conferences, conventions, seminars and the like.

In 1997, Rodriguez began a new church, Calvary Worship Center, in New York City. Some 97 people gathered in a tent while a new facility was being renovated. On September 13, 1998, Calvary Worship Center moved into a new building to begin its mission of spreading the gospel to New York City. The original 97 people were multiplied in two years to nearly 1,500 worshippers with three congregations consisting of many different ethnic groups. People from all over the world have come to visit and witness what God has done through the leadership of His servant.

Rodriguez has also authored "The Third Day Church" and "Get Out of My Way, I’m Going to the Palace."

He and his wife, Eva Feliciano, live with their three children in Stewartsville, New Jersey.
