Randy Valimont
Pastor, First Assembly, Griffin, Ga.

As the Senior Pastor of First Assembly of God in Griffin, Georgia, Randy Valimont has witnessed the blessings of God upon his church financially and numerically. When he began his ministry at First Assembly in August of 1993, the average morning attendance was 420. Since that time, the numbers have grown to over 1,900 on an average Sunday morning. The increases have been in other areas as well. The missions giving dramatically jumped from less than $10,000 to over $700,000 in 1999.

Valimont is a native of Charleston, S.C. and a 1981 graduate of Southeastern College in Lakeland, Fl. He has been in pastoral ministry since May of 1981. Valimont has remained actively involved in the Georgia District as a presbyter, co-chairman of the credentialing committee, and state CE Director.

Currently, Valimont serves on many boards, such as the Board of Regents of the CIS Bible Schools, International Media Ministry Board of the Assemblies of God and the Foreign Missions Board of the Assemblies of God. He is also a part of the National Blind Ministries Board, FAM International Board, and the cutting Edge International Board.

His speaking engagements have included the Georgia District Council, Ministers Retreats, camp meetings and several Bible colleges.

Valimont and his wife, Jelly, have three daughters.
